NAYLA is a Brooklyn–based, sustainable-luxury line of shoes and accessories. Handmade from upcycled fish leather—we transform fish skin that would otherwise be tossed out into fish leather at our 100%-geothermal-powered tannery in Iceland—our shoes are effortless, impossibly comfy, and made for people who feel most alive on their feet (we’re native New Yorkers, after all). We love fish leather not just because it’s salvaged from the sea but also for how excellent it looks and feels: Sumptuous, vibey, and so soft that your shoes hardly even need breaking in. 

We relish getting dressed as an incredibly fun and meaningful form of self-expression—and as a way to move through the day feeling like our most authentic selves. We don’t overproduce; each collection is handmade at our factory in Lima, Peru in limited runs to minimize waste. Our hope, if you decide on a pair of NAYLAs, is that they make you feel vibrant. That color does something to your mood when you wear it on your feet. That you find your shoes cushiony enough to run around in, and chic enough to be your statement piece.
